"Nippon Life to end premium discount system"
Nippon Life Insurance Co. plans to abolish its premium-discount system for policyholders who sign up for more than one insurance product from April 2010, it was learned Friday.
Due to a deteriorating business environment, including weak fund-management performance due to the global economic crisis, Nippon Life has decided to focus on imporving its earnings.
