振替輸送：transfer to another line
天変地異、人災、火災、事故等で、電車・地下鉄の一部の路線が、一時的に止まったり、営業中止となった場合、振替輸送の案内が、車内や駅構内であります。その場にいる外国人観光客の方は、 何が起こったのか、直ぐに理解できないで、困っているのを見かけます。

Transfer to another line is a service for our passengers who hold tickets valid for the zone during which an accident happened to be able to transfer to other line and use other route within the valid zone by our asking other railway companies of the effect in case of a train operation accident.
「振替輸送とは、お客様が支障区間の乗車券をあらかじめお持ちの場合で、列車の運転に支障があった際に、当社の路線又は他の鉄道会社に 依頼して、お客様の所持する乗車券の区間内を、他の経路によりご利用いただくものです」
電車が止まった駅構内にいる外国人観光客と日本人の間に、次のような会話が、交わされると思います。
- 外国人観光客：What happened?
（何が起きたの） - 日本人：There was an accident.
（事故です） - 外国人観光客：What should I do?
（どうしたらいいですか） - 日本人：There will be an announcement of the transfer to another line.
（振替輸送の知らせがありますよ） - 日本人：Why don't you ask the station staff?
（駅員さんに、聞いてください） - 外国人観光客：Thank you very much.
（ありがとうございます）
